I had the Factory Sport suspension on my 318ti. I went with a set of H&R's. They are definitely shorter and stiffer. If you go with new springs you should also think about getting shocks at the same time. The factory shocks (sport or regular) will probably not give you enough damping with the new springs. You can also save some money on the labor if you do both shocks and spriings together.
