Hello everyone,

I have a 1993 325i and I have been watching this message board for some time now and have seen several messages about the water pump and an upper water passage gasket (similar to head gasket).

With my car, only 42000 miles, what should I keep in mind as the miles start really adding up? I understand that the stock water pump has a non-metal impellor, should I replace that? Also, what about this water passage gasket? is that of any concern?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to respond.
