I got the hyper bulbs and am pleased - much whiter and brighter than stock halogens. A few nights ago when a valet drove my car up, it was very obvious that the foglights were whiter and brighter than my low beam headlights (I'll have to replace them now). The hyper bulbs are the same wattage - run at the same temp as stock and are not very expensive compared to the PIAA. I'll probably go with the PIAA platinum for my low beams though - just to see if they are really that good.
