My father put in two previous cars--a Chevy Blazer, and a Toyota Camry (both around 50-60,000 miles)...Call it coincidence, but a few months later, both cars began losing compression. The diagnosis: burnt engine--they began burning oil-basically went to sh*t. Just my experience--hope you don't have anything close to that nightmare.
: On a friend's recommendation, i just added some slick 50 to my oil on my 95 M3. Are there any downsides to this treatment. Maybe it's the placebo effect, but the car does feel a bit easier to rev, almost more responsive.
: also, has anyone heard anything about the slick 50 manual transmission treatment? is it any good?
: thanks a lot,
