: I filled up my bimmer to the neck of the tank and measured the resistance on both fuel sender terminals. The one with the fuel pump measured 245 Ohms and the other one measured 222 Ohms, so does that mean there both defective?
: Since my mech messed around with the fuel senders quite some time ago I never get a reading on my guage anymore, it used to least show full only when the tank was 100% filled.

Hi Frederick

I bet that cost you a few quid to fill it up!
I think you might need to change both the senders
One idea , why dont you try getting the senders from a salvage place. That place in Coventry would probaly show you a bimmer with the guage working and then they would take them off that car.
Just a thought
Paul
