As you know the window motor is programmed to stop and then back up when it senses an obstruction. Since the motor can't see the obstruction it must sense the obstruction by measuring the resistance involved in pushing the window up. Since the whole idea of this safety device is to prevent broken body parts, the resistance factor must be set relatively low.
So, what I think is happening is that your window tracks either need lubricating, or their warped, but somehow are creating enough resistance to cause the motor to "think" that there are fingers in the way.
If your still under warranty, bring it down to your local stealer, if not break out the screwdriver and see what's causing the friction.
: My one touch works just fine going down, but going up, the window will stop about 4 inches up, and back up, then stop, as if something had obstructed its path. Anybody out there had this problem? It only happens with I use the one touch up.
