Much more helpful then what I received on the M3 board. My only question is, when tapping on the high level outputs going to the amp, do I cut the wire and split it, or can I buy some wire taps from Radio Shack that make this an easier feat? (I have never used wire taps before) Wait, I have a second question, how do you figure out the high level outputs by using a voltmeter?

: I installed a powered bazooka in my 92 325 a long time ago before I upgraded the entire system with subs in a sealed box and all. If you are keeping the stock head unit with the stock amp, you won't be able to use the RCA inputs of your bazooka unless you get a line output regulator. With this regulator the high level outputs from the amplifier are converted to a low level output. It probably costs about $10-$15 now for the regulator. An even better scenario, I believe this is true for the H/K BMW systems the output going from the head unit to the amp is already a high level signal, so what you can do is tap into those wires before they reach the amp and use the regulator from there. You will find the amplifier in the rear left side of your car behind the carpeting. You will see a whole mess of wires going to the front of your car on the left side. If you have a volt meter, you will be able to tell which wires are which. You can also find out by process of elimination. It was such a while ago that I can't remember the exact color coding.

: If you do not want to go through the whole trouble of figuring out which wires are which from the amplifier I would suggest tapping in to the rear speakers and still using a line level output regulator and use the RCA input plugs bazooka provided. You will get a cleaner sound with less interferance.(hissing and buzzing and all that crap). You will notice that the lower the line signals you use going into a power source the cleaner the sound you will have come out of it.(In this case the powered bazooka a power source.)

: A recommendation on the mounting: The best sounding bass from a bazooka in the trunk of an e-36 is when it is mounted with the tube and port facing the rear. If you are using a slave bazooka as well, you would place both of them in the rear corners of the trunk. If it's only one tube, place it in the left rear conrner of the trunk. I think a 6 1/2 inch or an 8 inch tube will fit there. If you place it parallel to the rear seat, you will get some improvement, but it will just be boomy. It doesn't sound good that way.
