I found some aluminum hoses in Home depot to build the air intake. It's 3" diameter and can be bent. The problem is how can I make it black. Can I used black engine paint to paint it? Will paint stay on aluminum? Also I plan to seal the edge with high heat stand silicon (proximately 1,000F). Will silicon stay seal with the kind of heat and vibration of the engine?
Thank you.
