Hi Tim. Question, Does the ticking increse with the trottle? Is the noise comming from the extream rear(out of the exhaust tips) or mid thru the exaust system (cat area)? I installed a DTM Remus Exhaust system last June as well. I had a similar noise for about a month or around 500 miles. It quit. I also had a blueish/black smoke and a stinky smell comming out of the exhaust outlets as well. That was the Catalytic Converter and the new muffler baffle adjusting themselves to their new home, ie burning out the impurities.

Realize that you have made a better path for sound to travel. You will hear all kinds of noises comming out of the new exhaust. It may just be valve noise. HtH, randy
