... You may also want to look into some sort of Aluminum adhesion promoter/primer. Something like Zink Chromate. ZC (I think) may not be available now over the counter but you will need some sort of primer. The constant heat swings will cause the paint to peel off over a period of time. Also if you go with a black paint, I suggest a "BBQ grill" paint. Its flat black and can handle somewhere near 1500 deg Faren. HtH, randy
