Front Tyre wear. (archive)

Got a major problem with front tyre wear on my 92 E36 325i saloon,The inner shoulders are being scrubbed off big style, (About 12000 miles), There is some slight vibrations thro' the steering during heavy braking otherwise everything else seems okay, Whats the problem? Is it possibly worn wishbone bushs?
Any suggestions?
