What's REALLY ironic is the fact that BMW had to unload Rover because of the years of incompetent management and shoddy assembly quality- probably performed by some of the workers you saw. The hapless E21 that got trashed is probably still tighter and rattle free than the average Rover rolling out of Longbridge...
