I agree with Jon on University of Spoiled Children. It is in the heart of South Central. the famous scene of riot and beating. It is a great school. Lot of lawyer from there.

: Welcome to California. First of all, USC is not a bad school itself. As a matter of fact, it's known as the University of Spoiled Children. BMW M3s are like Nissans to many kids who go there. However, because of its location (it's near downtown LA),
: you 'll prob. have to watch out for dodging bullets and stuff (wahahah, just kidding). The campus itself does have a good safety measure. However, once you're outside of school, it may be a different matter depending on various circumstances.
: Hope this helps.

: : I'm writing this a little late, but I will be visiting the LA area Monday and Tuesday this week to see USC. Its kind of a whirlwind tour because we are flying in monday morning and out tuesday night. Anything I should be aware of or be sure to do while I'm there? Hopefully I'll be able to meet up with some of you guys if I do end up going there next year. Seems like quite a few people on the boards are from southern california. Thanks
