is much quicker and typically edges out the M3's in autocrosses, and I have outperformed an M conv at the dragstrip, using an ERT S/C, AA Exh, Dinan TB. RWHP is 233 (277 bhp). The S/C is low maintenence, quiet, and easy to live with in traffic. The turbo is more versatile, you can modify the settings or upgrade and gain more boost, whereas a S/C setup is about as good as it gets out of the box. If I had to do it over, I would probably have gone with the AA turbo, b/c the S/C lacks in low-end grunt, but it will fly on the high end. I like my setup and may add an aftercooler to add some power, but very happy with the no maintenence so far.

: Most supercharger packages don't have intercoolers.... because they don't generate enough boost to really require one... plus they rob power from the drivetrain... turbos just use wasted exhaust enegry (at the expense of a little back pressure)
: I know a guy who goes to midwest motorsports
(http://www.midwestmotorsport.com) who swapped out his Dinan powerdyne supercharger for an Active Autoworks unit... he says he went from 300 to 450 hp!?!?!
: DINAN is coming out with an intercooled SC just to compete with the newer turbo setups... but Turbo may be the way to go!
