Oil consumption after installing new spark plugs (archive)

Any ideas on this. I installed some new Bosch Platinum (those 4 prong ones) and now the car seems to be buring oil. I had the regular Bosch ones in there before and it did not burn a drop for over 2000 miles. Now, after installing the new Platinums 2 weeks ago it has burned about 1/2 quart in 500 - 750 miles. I have checked for leaks and none found. I know this is not normal. The car is a '93 with 50K miles. Could it be the new plugs? Any ideas?
