try little things like BMW logo keycahin and/or baseball cap. If he really loves his car and looking for performance, throw him an Intake (www.bavauto.com)($100-$200) or a set of clear corners and clear sidemarkers (www.autodynamic.com) ($50-$60). If he is really into his car and does a whole bunch of high-tech performance stuff, a short shift or exhaust system (kinda pricey though). Depends what he likes, I'm more of a "looks" type person, I got an intake, for performance, the rest is cosmetics (clear corners, rims, tints, stereo system, alarm/keyless entry) Into Stereo stuff? I'd love it if someone got me a little M3 spoiler for my car ($100-/+ unpainted) hope this helps.
