Have the A/C system checked out by a reputable mechanic. The microfilter will restrict cold air flow not eliminate it. I replaced the condensor in my 325is after leaks were discovered as evidenced by 'oily' looking areas on the condensor. Go to someone you can trust because A/C parts for BMWs are extremely expensive. My R/R cost ~$1200.00. regards\
