On the way home tonight a red mid-90's Mustang Cobra (Cobra Badged) pulled alongside me doing ~70mph. We exchanged looks and I popped it into 3rd from 5th. He was door to door with me until I hit around 110 and started to pull away fast from him. At ~125MPH I saw some cars ahead and decided to let her coast in neutral for another mile or so until I got off my exit. At the light, he pulled up on my right, rolled down his window and said "man, I didn't know those were that fast" - I replied "man, I didn't know those were that slow". We laughed and he blew my friggen doors off the hinges at the light. I am still trying to get that rubber smell out of the car - I opened a vanilla 'tree' and left the roof open tonight. :o)

** Note: I only open her up when there is no one else on the road (excluding the person racing me) Once I see *ANY* cars, the race is over. It is not worth hurting anyone else but yourself if you are taking the chance of racing. Its always better to lose the race than someone lose their life...

: Has anyone raced a 85-90 Mustang Gt. On paper the cars have similar 0-60 times. I have driven the GT and it feels faster, I know the torque is greater.
