best rotors/pads for e36? (archive)

what are the best rotors and pads for a 93 325is? I heard slotted is better than cross drilled since it stops sooner. any advice would be appreciated, i go through stock pads/rotors in about 6 months, i drive at high speeds around 120 mph alot and do alot of braking at those speeds
