Hi! You will have to sand off the bump (if its possible without opening/breaking the glass). You should also sand the part on the headlights where the eyelid is glued on (be careful not to sand below the eyelids), and sand the back of the eyelid. It is VERY important that the eyelids are fitted properly or they can loosen up by the wind/washing. They can also loosen when you have opened the hood, and close it if they aren't fitted right. I had to re-glue mine last week because one of them loosened on the side. I would recommend the eyelids from Rieger-Tuning - they bend around the clear-corners, and protect them from being stolen. (Here is a pic of mine, old picture from last year - but it gives you an idea of what the ones from Rieger look like).
: Hi,
: I plan to buy eyelids/headlight trim for my '92 325i. I had three questions for those who have them:
: 1) I have a small bump on the top center of my headlights. Do these covers fit over them or do I need to have/buy differnet headlights w/o the bumps? If that is the case I probably won't get them.
: 2) How did you color code them? Did you take them to a body shop or did you paint them yourself w/touch-up paint from the dealer?
: 3) Where did you get them?
: TIA!
