I've found that any car dealer is very expensive for maintenance. If you can afford it, that's great. You might want to contact your nearest chapter of the BMW CCA in your area. They might have a favorite wrench out there as I do not know where you are from. Imho It's a lot more fun to do your own service especially easy stuff like oil changes, filter replacements, etc. It'll save on money and you get to bond with the car better. AS you get more familiar with the car, you might want to buy a BMW car book on your series and taking a shot at it. Just be careful not to touch anything that's too complicated for you based on your level of experience. If you don't know, go to a pro.
