i've found that ALL pioneer and sony decks/cd players work PERFECTLY with all cd-r's (even the cheap ones...although i most of the time use Memorex). i burn at 12x all the time (yes...12x) and have NO problems. if ur burner is IDE (and not scsi)...burn at 4x and u'll be more than fine.
