OK, I had to get rid of my '88 M3 (sob sob) because it was just too much maintenance cost, I am not gifted with the budget of a collector. We now have a '94 325is and a '92 325i. On the 325i, the steering wheel is clicking as we turn it. It locks temporarily and then unlocks. When this happens(about three times through the rotation) it shakes the levers on the column (cruise control, turn signal, windshield wiper) this is simply annoying at the moment but it could be bad for the stearing wheel to lock up in the middle of a high-speed turn.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
