I haven't rode in an E36 with H&R/Bilstein setup although hopefully Jo will let me check his out soon. I have been in a couple Dinan stage 3 M3s and they were fuckin amazing. I'm just afraid that if you go with various combined aftermarket parts that you will screw up the geometry that bmw worked so hard on so you will have better handling but less balance than you could. OTOH with a full Dinan (or schnitzer or whatever) suspension setup, the whole package is designed to work together. I think this may allow you to have the better suspension without as much harshness. Thos Dinan 3s i've been in were not overly harsh at all but they handled fucking amazingly. I would describe them like a black and decker snake light "goes where you want it, stays where you put it".
And Chris, if you read this, one of the cars I'm talking about is yours.
Just my thoughts. Anyone have input?
