Help!! With clutch problem. Gears engage but car + (archive)

doesn't go. Engine accelerates but car doesn't advance.
This occured after clutch got stuck to the floor. I didn't hear any noises or anything, but I had to hook the clutch with my foot to get it out of the stuck position. I get no check engine light and car seems to start fine. Has anyone had a similar experience or can anyone offer help on this.
I would really appreciate it.
