Hi,

I installed the Nak 6 disc in dash cd player up front, a/d/s 335is.2 components (2-way), a/d/s 840.2i 8 channel amp, ImageDynamics IDQDVC 12 inch sub (DVC for dual voice coil) in sealed box in truck, all powered by the a/d/s 8 channel amp. I heard the JL boxes aren't as powerful and full and they should be. But, if trunk space is paramount, then those boxes are the way to go.

Make sure you run nice RCA cables and ground ur head unit at the same location as your amp so you won't get alternator whine. Other than that, the system sounds amazing! Get the 335is.2 or larger 2 way component since the 3 series crossover is better. Allows you to install the midrange and tweeter at a longer distanec. If you went with the A-series, then you can't have the tweeter too far away from teh mid range, or else it won't sound good. Good luck, and happy blasting.

12inch sub is enough and it shakes the entire car if you turn the bass up.
