abs hydraulic pump (archive)

e 36 m 43 3181 model 1996
i came to understand that the abs hydraulic pump tend to give way every 24 months they the mech says its a common problem. new unit cost myr5 k (in malaysia)
any suggestions how to rebuild the pump.
fault: front right valve
