Pull back the carpet panels inside the trunk to expose the rear shock tops. There may be a styrofoam block sitting on top of them pull that out too. Then pull off the rubber cap and look for cracking in the rubber around the shock bolt.

: Hello, I have the H&R Sport Springs on stock struts and have noticed a creaking sound coming from the back. I noticed on an earlier post that the mounts can become cracked or even break. How do I go in and check? What is entailed in checking to see? Any help would be appreciated.
