This is interesting. I just removed and reinstalled my glovebox and noticed the gap there too. I didn't remember it that way but I thought it was just me and it was always that way.

Now I'm thinking maybe it actually was tighter before I took it apart.

When I get time I'm going to take it apart again and see why it doesn't fit like it used to.
