Hey guys, just want to let you know I'm loving our message board, though it's costing me a lot of sleep ;) Anyway, I have this inquiry about my '96 328is tailpipes: one of them has a valve. This valve closes when the engine is turned on. Why? Does it create some sort of backpressure, or does the valve open up at WOT? I don't know, I understand my BMW pretty well, but this one has me stumped. I'm sure someone can solve it, though. Thanks.
Victor
