: today when i jack up the rear of my car, i notice that there are oil/grease splashed all over the bump stopper and the top portion of the rear shock. Is my rear shock leaking from the top? I am running on bilstein sport with H&R race spring. anyone has the same kind of problem before? what should i do if it is leaking? various people told me that the bump stopper is leaking (but i don't think so). I can see that the oil leaks starts from the middle of the bump stopper all the way down to the shock. any suggestion?
: thanks in advance.

Try cleaning the oil/grease off, then driving the car a while to see if it gets back on there, if not it may be from somewhere else, something splashed off of road or some other source. As far as I know the bump stop is a solid rubber piece, nothing to leak. If it is the shock I'm pretty sure Bilstein will warranty, I think you just have to pay to ship.
A question for you: How do the Bilstein sports ride, I have a 94 325is with H&R sports and was thinking of putting the 'steins on it but I wanted to know if the ride was livable everyday? Anyone care to express an opinion. Please.
Thnx
