: : I tried to adjust them but they either hit while in operation or when I raise the hood. I can't seem to get enough clearance. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

: : Ronin.

: Rumour has it there is a revised wiper arm available from BMW to cure this problem although I never went down this route.

: I put the arm in a vice and put a little extra bend in it. The metal is quite soft and deformed easily without fracturing.
