Hi All,
Ive had this problem since owning the car from 7 months ago. After a long journey I would hear rattling from under the car when in neutral, once I depress the clutch pedal the
rattling would stop. I have already changed the clutch with a LuK clutch kit to eliminate the clutch juddering I was getting which was inherent in my 94 318is, the rattling was there before the replacement clutch and is still there now. What do you think it maybe? The input shaft bearing in gearbox? I have been told that this rattling has no long/short term effects on the car.
Comments and feedback appreciated.
Freddy
PS The rattling is there until I depress the clutch pedal, the rattling also changes fluctuates
when I press the gas pedal, again if I depress clutch it goes.
