Just acquired a 93 318i (archive)

: I'm looking for a car for my son and found a '93 318i. It is in great shape and mechanically it looks very good. There is a slight rear end howl at 60+ but that's the only fault I've found. It has 105,000 on it which is my greatest concern.
: What's a good price that I should offer the guy? Also are there any mechanical concerns that I should check into with this mileage?

I just purchased the exact car in red 3 weeks ago and love it so far. It has 105k and is a m/t. I knew the dealer and got it for $9500 in Louisville, KY. I had everything checked out. It needed one wheel bearing replaced and the tilt on the sunroof doesn't function (needs a whole new cassette I was told). The car is immaculate and only had 1 female driver. It's an extremely solid car to say the least. You won't regret the purchase. If you have any other queries, feel free to e-mail me.
