Yeah, a kid that I know is finishing up a supposedly 10 second CRX. Of course it isn't even ready to run yet, and he's already blown about $40,000 of his inheritance... And what does he have to show for it? A gussied-up 9 year old econo-box worth about $3000. Talk about stupid. I'm sure he'll grenade the frond end the first time he takes it down the track... I'd rather sink money into a classic car that you could at least cruise around on Sundays and get some respect - not some queer souped up rice-bucket you have to tow to track and tow home later (amidst jeers and much finger pointing)...
