I've got a '92 320i saloon, and I'd like to lower it a bit. I've been looking at some 40mm kits, and a couple of 60mm front/40mm rear-kit, and I think it would be best to lover iit a couple of centimeters more at the front..... but; to he point: The E36 apparently has two types of front suspension for this car. One before sometime during 1993, and one after. The suspension kits I've looked at only fits the later type. I'm told that there's a part I can change to make the newer type struts fit, but which part? And; is it much work replacing it? Anyonetried this?

I'd also appreciate any tips on lowering kits, including both springs and shocks... Coilovers are out of the question, I think. Too expensive. Especially here in tax counry ;-) (Norway)

Thanks,
Stein
