Question on clear front corners? (archive)

I should have clear fronts/sides for my '94 325i this week sometime. I have a question. Some people have complained that their corners fly off at high speed after putting the clears on. Does this only happen if you break one of the plastic retaining clips during installation or is it unaviodable? What is the best way to avoid this phenomenon if possible? Thanks
