Given the chance and time, I do enjoy the full wash and polish 6 hour thing.

However, Living in Texas, with its 100 plus temps, I think any soul would "Horror of Horrors!" take it to the carwash and let someone else take care of it!

Having said that I tend to go to the "Brushless" type washes, and I do the wheels myself.
