If you really want to consider the electric buffer you may want to look into the one by Griot's Garage with the thicker pads to prevent paint burns. They also recommend a three-step polish to use with the random orbital buffer. Check out www.griotsgarage.com If you buy their whole system, it can be rather expensive.

As for me, I wash, clean and wax with Zymol products. I use the Calif. Duster and Zymol Glaze between washes/waxes to maintain and extend the shine. I also garage and cover the car whenever I don't drive it for a few days. I'm pretty satisfied with my results.

I am considering purchasing an electric buffer to apply/remove wax/polish. Been applying it for years by hand but I would do it more often if it was easier! Any suggestions on brand/your success with using the hand-held buffers? Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks
