It is the knob to turn headlights on. underneath dash insert. disclaimer: use info at your own risk. not responsible for damages to system. Also, get a bentley and dump the haynes/chilton or whatever else.
1, remove left side dash insert and disconnect harness connector to headlight switch
2, pull of headlight switch knob. (wrapping adhesive tape around knob makes it easier)
3, remove nut mounting switch to dash insert (the knob for turning headlights on)
4, pull switch out
5, installation is reverse.

i tried looking into the Hayes service manual for a description of the headlight switch terminals, but i can find anything on it.. could someone be kind enough to post it.. thanks in advance.
