The stereo is not stock, he put another one in, I hate the way it looks, and I'd rather put in another one to match the red display. He has already hooked up a changer, so I would only have to change the actual stereo, i wonder if its a tough procedure.

Also, any estimate to how much refinishing seats would be?

Also if anyone can be so kind in directing me of the proper way to perform maintnace (or learning how to learn more about car parts and cars in general) please help.. I know nothing about cars!

Thanks
mitan

My car is also a 325is / 95k miles and has been reliable until today (see my post above). Knowing what I know today when I bought my car:
1. Make sure that the title is clean, use carfax.com

2.make sure the sunroof can tilt, if it doesn't, then, chances are that it will rattle over bumps

3.Nothing short of refinishing the leather seats can truly fix cracked leather seats. German cars are famous for the driver's side bolster wearing poorly

4. If the stereo works fine, leave it. The only thing that the stock stereo truly needs is bass.

E mail for more info. If properly maintained, these cars have style, performance and reliabilty.

Good Luck
