I just bought a 95 325is and had the same problem. I didn't want to pay for new leather (~$1200), so I took it into and apholster shop and had them replace a few panels and "paint" the seats. Yes, they sand them down (to get rid of cracks) and then they paint them with a special paint. Looks good, but the seats will be much stiffer. I've noticed that eventually they soften up a bit with use and Lexol, but they aren't as good as new. But it did cost me $300 for both front seats including a few new leather panels for the really cracked parts.Aaron
Hi,
My 325is has the light grey leather interior. I just got the car, and the leather shows bad wear marks on the drivers seat. I already put Hide Food on it, and that made it a bit softer but how can I fix the cracks?
Thanks,
Andrew
