I have found Ron Styger's page that talks about the resetting. I havn't used it yet as my friend has the reset tool. One day I'll by the radio shack tool and try it. See if it helps, if not let me know.


I found instructions on how to reset the Service Idicator light without using the reset tool (link below). It works on my 1988 E30 M3 but not on my 1992 E36 325i. Any ideas?



That's the reference I used to reset my '94 325i. See info in last paragraph.
