I don't remember every single detail step but with my box, there are both screws and clips and all the shit stuff. I tried to keep them all but couldn't. All the metal slips will be broken and there is no way you can keep them, but I figured out by breaking those slips hurt any things. After taking off all those slips and screws, when you try to open up the cards, it's sound like broken plastic from the inside but it is not. I think that noise is from those components that are sticking to each other at high heat temperature, no hurt though. But still you should be carefully when open it up. I've heard that computer box is very expensive.
Good luck.
Hi I just bought a chip and I'm trying to install it. The install instructions don't seem to match that of what is in my car. I have a '93 325is. I was wondering if anyone had any idea how to install it. I found where the ECU campartment cover is but after that my car doesn't match the instructions. In the instructions it say there are 6 locking tabs but in my car there are three screws. Now I've tried to take those three screws out and take out the plasic cover. When trying to do so I started to hear the plastic break. That's when I stopped to ask you guys for any help you can give me when installing the chip. Thanks to anyone who can help
