putting the trans in 3rd works great but once you reach 70mph(highway speeds) you have to maually shift into drive(4th). With a chip and the selector on drive the trans will shift like it does in 3rd but will be able to go into overdrive(4th). It also goes into sport mode when you hit the kick down for a faster response.
