Your insurance rates don't got up because of a vehicle roadside inspection failure. Yeah, maybe IF your pulled over again you'll get a ticket for the lights if you still have them clear, but you don't have to worry that everytime a cop gets behind you they're running your plate, unless you live in a two cop town. They just grabbed you today cause it was convenient. Basically, it comes down to this. If you willing to get a ticket for the clear lights, don't change them. Where I live they would give you 10 days to change them. But that's all you have to worry about, if you even care. I wouldn't.

Your name was put in their database and everytime a cop pulls you over or decides to follow you and run your plate, this'll come up!

Not only is it going to put you on their "HOT" list but its also going to raise your insurance premiums quite substantially. You will know be considered a "high risk" driver.

It is extremely unfortunate that this happend to you because even though you didn't get a ticket, you will end up paying through the nostrils in insurance premiums. Insurance companies constantly access these databases for any excuse to jack up your premiums.

I am sorry that this happened to you, perhaps you should just put the stock lights back on to avoid any further hassel from the FUZZ.
