Hey guys, I have read through the archives and man are there differing opinions about car alarms. ANything from alarm doesn't help because people ignore the siren(I believe this personally) to an alarm is absolutely neccessary. Anyway, I am about to take my car to Oakland and would like to do so with some sort of security. I have had a civic there for two years with no problems and all it had was the club(civic is rated higher than bmw for number of thefts). So my instinct is to say f*&K the alarm and just buy another club for it. I'd like opinions. What do you guys think? I'd love all the goodies that come with alarms(personally i'd like the remote starter and keyless entry) but don't care for the siren. Am I taking a risk? If you guys have had personal experience with either of these security then I'd love to hear the stories.

P.S I also so some club looking thing one night late on t.v in a paid advertisement. It goes under the steering wheel and locks around the brake. No idea what it's called but any idea if it's better than a security alarm or the club?
