On my 320i, both my electric windows and sunroof all went dead. At the time, the drivers windows was all the way down, and the sunroof wide open, and THUNDERSTORMS were forecast. Bummer.

It was a relay, located left hand side up under the glovebox. Cost GBP 130 to fix.

Could just be a fuse though - check that first.
