Car paint changes shades (usually lighter) over the years. When I took my spoiler to get painted, I was shocked when the paint guy showed me what my original car color was from the factory in a book. Quite a bit different. As a matter of fact, the shade from the factory changes thoughout the production year, but that difference is pretty suttle. If you have a 98 or newer car, you would probably have to look very hard to see the difference. On my 94, it would have been very obvious that the paint didn't match. While it looks red, it has an slight orange tone to it now.
Are they factory wings, accurate replicas, or bull shit? What is the quality of the finish?
