Regarding your wax question, you really can't apply multiple coats of wax. I mean, you can apply them, but only a thin layer will stay on the paint, meaning you're going to get lots of white powder when you buff.

Basically, it's only a good idea to re-wax when the original coat of wax has been stripped away (by washings or whatever.)
